Hello! My name is Shameed Job. I'm a student by day, software developer by night, and a game developer whenever I have time in between.
Trabasura is a portmanteau of two Spanish words: Trabajo (job) and Basura (trash). Although it started as a self-deprecating joke, it has stuck with me so much that I've been releasing projects under that name.
What kind of projects? Indie games of course!
I really like working on unique mechanics and mixing genres with my games. I can admit that sometimes they don't work but some of my favorite projects are highlighted on this page.
If you'd like to see all of the games that I've worked on, you can check my steam or itch.io pages
Note Brawl is a fighting-soccer game that I made to challenge myself to finally release something on steam.
This was heavily inspired by some party games that I've played with my cousins as a kid, so I'd highly recommend trying it if you want a kick of nostalgia!
(Plus it's free so you should definitely play it!)

IBYH!? was my entry for Ludum Dare 50!
It's a physics-based microgame platformer with a fun cast of thieves fighting for a noble cause!
This game was the first time that I'd ever collaborated on a project and without @PotatoMika's masterful narrative skills, @yearningboo's amazing pixel art, and @ArisArtAndStuff's character design (and genius sense of humor) this game would've never been completed!
Virulence was my entry for Wowie Jam 4.0.
In this dark fps tower defense game, you are tasked with researching a virus during a challenging pandemic.
The mood in this game is something that I want to work with more in my future projects and I'm currently working to release a full version of it.
Look out for updates on this project up to its eventual completion!
Yo, Listen! was my entry for Ludum Dare 51!
In this frantic puzzle game, you play as a young adventurer trying to escape the wrath of an angry fairy!
This game was different for me because I spent a lot more time working on the environment and storytelling than usual.
You can complete it fairly quickly, so I hope you give it a try!
